My Homecoming this Chinese New Year

With the Year of the Rabbit in just less than a week away, I am sure many of the Chinese across the globe are gearing towards this festive season. Shopping, spring cleaning, rush to the bank for new banknotes, restaurant bookings, buying raw ingredients, family reunion, etc. it is no wonder everyone seems to be busy and working extra hard before the long break breaks.
As usual, my mum will be extremely busy this time of the year. She probably gets very panic on what else to buy to cook on the Chinese New Year Eve, what else to buy so that exchanging of gifts will not be left out (*hint* She doesn't need to buy, she uses my dad's hamper gifts. I reckon my house is full of hamper. When I say that, probably almost 20 hampers or probably more each year).
As I have missed Chinese New Year twice already for the past two years, this is going to be my homecoming Chinese New Year. I will board my flight back to Kuala Lumpur exactly one week from today. Many people have been speculating about my return. Yes, I will be home for the Year of the Rabbit.
Till then, see you all in Malaysia. To those in Singapore, be ready for my visitation.
