KL Plaza CLOSED DOWN

Yes, the title tells you all about it. I was in Planet Hollywood (hopped over from Pavilion KL) Kuala Lumpur located at Ground Floor of KL Plaza.

I asked the promoter at the Merchandise store.

Me: Why aren't there any Black colour T-shirts anymore? Looks so empty the shelf.

Promoter: Well, today it's our last day. Tomorrow no more already.

Me: Last day? New stocks coming in tomorrow is it?

Promoter: No, today it's our last day of operation. We're closing down tomorrow. I'm unemployed then. KL Plaza is undergoing a new uplift. Pavilion KL management has bought over.

Me: What? My favourite shop is closing down? Sigh, so sentimental but I have to bid farewell to that great place.

Promoter: Yeah, I have worked here for 2 years too. Anyway, thanks for dropping by.

Me: Good luck to you in searching for a new job too.

YES, KL Plaza will be wholly owned by Pavilion KL as of 17th November 2008 onwards. Many of you said, it's another white elephant. Well, dream come true.
