“Why you want to dine at Tasting Room?”

As I stumbled upon the recent post by Nicolekiss about "Wine, Wine and Wine", it struck me to take this opportunity to take part in this contest. It is not all about the free gifts that Nicole has worked out with Ron (from Wine Cellar) but I would like to deepen my knowledge about wine.
Let me tell you why I would like to dine at Tasting Room?

Being a hotelier today in a 5-star hotel in Kuala Lumpur, the guests expects that you are at the top notch in your knowledge about wine, liqueur, spirit, etc. It is simply an opportunity for me since there's a master "guru" of wine who is willing to teach me and to share his expertise.

Having said so, I have search everywhere for the opportunity to learn more about wine but I do not know where to search for one. It is all because of Nicolekiss that gives an opportunity to her reader to participate in this not so well-known wine tasting session. Let me tell you why?

Generally, people in Malaysia drinks wine for pleasure and to celebrate in occasions. Little do they know anything more about wine. I do agree wine is something exclusive whereby people drink for pleasure and to celebrate occasions but it means more than that to those who appreciates wine. When I first did my course in Bachelor of Hospitality and Tourism (Hons), I consume wine as though I'm drinking plain water (just that the colour is different and it contains alcohol...haha) but when my lecturer imparted his knowledge about wine, I started to appreciate it and wanting to learn more about wine.

Till today, I'm still in the process of learning and coupled with this opportunity, I do not want to miss it.

Nicolekiss and her glass of wine (is that Moscato d’Asti)
Well, anyhow I do not place high hopes (crossing my hands that I may be one of them) but I certainly look forward to meet you again Nicolekiss. Thank you once again Nicolekiss and Ron for giving the opportunity to the public to join in this contest.
