The Malaysia International Gourmet Festival is the country’s premier fine dining event. 25 of the country's very best Master Chefs and restaurants combine throughout November to present a smorgasboard of special Festival Menus at unbeatable prices. Visa, the Festival Title Sponsor and the Official Card of the Festival are giving away fantastic offers to cardholders. There are also enhanced offers for holders of the Mercedes-Benz Privilege Card. While the focus is on the world class chefs who are already resident in Malaysia, some restaurants are also flying in Michelin chefs from overseas for guest appearances during the Festival. Another great event that should not be missed is Epicure Malaysia a fine dining and lifestyle fair where you can buy all sorts of fine foods, wine and lifestyle products as well as attend workshops on everything from wine appreciation and the art of entertaining to hair rejuvenation and how to stay young and beautiful!

This event is just in time for the country to usher into the Visit Malaysia Year 2007. Datuk Steve Day, the Organising Chairman said the Malaysia International Gourmet Festival said that next year, the festival would be an even bigger affair with more restaurants coming on board in anticipation of Visit Malaysia Year.
Visa is the official card of the festival while the official car is the Mercedes-Benz.
Among the participating restaurants are Iketeru in Hilton Kuala Lumpur, Lafite in Shangri-La Hotel, Dynasty in Renaissance Kuala Lumpur, Hanabi Japanese Restaurant in Kuala Lumpur, Tamarind Springs in Kuala Lumpur, Eest and Prego at the Westin Kuala Lumpur and The Olive in Genting Hotel.
A three-day Epicure Malaysia Fair will be held from Nov 17 to 19 at the Sime Darby Convention Centre.
The food, wine and lifestyle fair will feature everything from fine food and wines to wellness and lifestyle products with workshops and cooking classes.
