It's Like A Fairy Tale Idols

AND THE IDOL IS.....DANIEL

From Kuching, Sarawak to Penang to Johor Bahru & lastly in Kuala Lumpur. These are the venues for the Malaysian Idol Audition. Tens & thousands thronging to this different venues for audition & only 11 Finalists made it to the Top 11 (Spectacular).

At last, only 2 made it to the Grand Finale in Genting Arena of Stars on the 23rd September 2005 witnessing Daniel Lee, a tiny guy from the outskirt of the town, Changlun in Kedah & Norhanita Hamzah from the Metropolitan City of Kuala Lumpur. Both of them auditioned in Penang.

All of us were hoping that both can stay as the top singer in the Malaysian Idol but there must be a winner in every competition though both of them were good in their own way. There were many different dicisions before I decided to go and watch the Malaysian Idol Grand Finale in Genting Arena of Stars. At first it clasehes with my cousins birthday party, making me to call off my 2 free tickets & a complimentary room given to me free from Genting Highlands (my dad's friends work in Genting). Then, on 17th September 2005, in Sunway Pyramid, I won two tickets from the 8TV & Malaysian Idol Roadshow. It is there that I decided to go. Then on Wednesday noon, I won 4 tickets via Hitz.FM making it 6 tickets & later my dad told me that Nita's boyfriend's friend is my dad's client. So, this entitle me to the family ticket which elevates my seating to the VIP. Altogether 4 Family Ticket & 6 Normal tickets.

The Finale performance saw criticism (not so much) and praises from the 3 judges. It was a great show to all of us as this is the last performance. The 11 Finalist gave a very good opening & closing show.

The very next day, it was the Results Show. The event of the day kicked off with the Judges-meet-Fans session in First World Square noon. Here it is time for people who wants to WIN VIP PASSES that will elevate their normal ticket status to the VIP SEAT & SPECIAL VIP PASS TO ATTEND THE MALAYSIAN IDOL POST PARTY IN GENTING HOTEL BALLROOM.

In this party, I get to chat with so many different people, from the 3 Judges: Roslan Aziz (Abang Roslan), Fauziah Latiff (Kak Jie) & Paul Moss (Uncle Paul), the 8TV & TV3 Personalities, 8TV Quickie Hosts (Adam & Marion and Rina Omar & Phat Fabes), the VIP Passes Winner (except me lah cuz I got connection in 8TV. Actually my friend, Aidan Aquinas Chew, the Nescafe Kickstart Winner 2004 obtain it for me) and best of all I get to take pics and mingle around with the 23 FINALISTS OF THE MALAYSIAN IDOL (12 FINALISTS FROM 2004 & 11 FINALISTS FROM 2005). It was a rocking HOT Party where we are served Buffet Dinner (or should I say supper), FREE FLOW of BEER...Disco Dancing with the Idols & my 8 Team Cruisers from 8TV (they are my friends).
